I saw the Micellar water by Garnier advertised and thought it was a pretty cool concept of taking your make up off and cleansing at the same time so when i saw it on offer in boots for £1.00 for the handbag sized bottle so i thought i would try it.
I usually take my make up off Boots Essentials Make Up Remover and cotton wool pads and i cleanse my face with Nivea 2 in 1 cleanser and toner. I was happy with my routine but i thought why use two products when i can use one?
I found that the Micellar water was very good at taking all of my make up off and even my mascara which was sometimes hard to remove with the Boots Essentials Make Up Remover even though it is not a waterproof mascara.
However a downside to the product was that my skin did feel quite oily afterwards which i did not like and it did also feel a little itchy, but as i have sensitive skin that would not be the case for everyone else using the product. To combat this i just use some moisturizer which helps to stop the itching and soothes my skin.
I would really recommend the product to anyone if they wanted to change their skin care routine, i will continue to use the product and next time i will buy the larger bottle which retails at £4.99 for 400ml. I paid £1 for my 125ml bottle and it has lasted me three weeks so far using it everyday, so it is worth the money!
Here is the link to the Boots website where you can order it or buy in stores: http://www.boots.com/en/Garnier-Micellar-Cleansing-Water-400ml_1440752/
