So tomorrow is the day that I move back to Nottingham ready for my second year of university. I still can’t believe I’m no longer going to be a fresher; it doesn’t seem five minutes since I was buying all of my things and loading up the car to move in with 10 other strangers!
This year I feel more positive about returning as I am living with three other amazing girls who have been my best friends throughout my time at Trent. I have a job so I will no longer be poor and relying on my parents, although not having a job was great as I had loads of spare time to go out and get drunk.

One thing I will miss when I am there is of course my family and friends, but most of all is my puppy Martha. She is the cutest bundle of fluff and she just makes my heart melt when I look at her. Last year when I left she had only been with us for three months and cried at my door looking for me, that just breaks my heart. Although we do facetime, I know what you’re thinking facetiming a dog is strange, but I’m sure if you love your pets as much as I do then you will do it too. Its nothing like cuddling up to her though.
I’m so excited to get back to the city atmosphere too. Living in a town where nothing really goes on is a little bit rubbish but in Nottingham there is always something going on. Last year we had to go out filming for my course (broadcast Journalism) and all of a sudden about 6 super cars pulled into the Market Square for a car show and a free style beat boxer turned up all in the space of 20 minutes.
I also am excited to get back to cheerleading, Preseason is 16 days away!!! I love cheer and I have a new stunt group this time so it will be fun working with them and all different abilities from the girls who competed in Comp to those who preformed for the Varsity and me and few girls from Performance squad. We were shown the designs for our kit and they look so good, with our white bows with our names on too. We will all look so sassy. We were told that we have to all try out this year so no one gets a free pass into the squads just because we were in them last year. Try outs were so much fun last year, a little daunting because I knew no one there so it was fun making friends and learning a new skill basically.

I like posting little life updates like these, I don’t know if you like reading them but if you do just comment on what else you would like to see up on here also.
