Whilst i was taking in all the sights and smells of Lush i found myself wondering over to the lip care products. I have always suffered with dry and chapped lips but have never really found lip balms that really do much to help. I then found a lip scrub which claims to scrub your lips of any dry skin and leave them soft so i thought i would buy a pot and give it a try.
I picked up the flavour BUBBLEGUM and it actually tastes like strawberry flavoured bubblegum, which is dangerous because then i am tempted to lick it off my lips before i have scrubbed them!
I first tried the product after i have brushed my teeth in the morning when i had woken up so they had not been moisturized yet and were a little dry. I dabbed my finger into the pot and made sure i had enough that it would cover my lip, and then massaged the scrub for about two minutes on each lip at a time to ensure all skin was removed.
The caster sugar exfoliates the lips whilst the jojoba oil leaves them feeling soft.
I then licked my lips to make sure all of the scrub was off, and then re framed myself from doing it again because it tasted so nice!
But i was very pleased with the results as i had very soft lips and my lipstick then went on and looked perfect, which it did not generally do before i used the product.
I love how the product is vegan friendly too so that everyone can use it and there are no limitations. Even boys with chapped lips can use it!
LUSH Lip Scrub is something i would recommend to girls who want to ensure their lips are perfectly smooth and soft, i take it everywhere with me now and even use it sometimes as a substitute for my lip balm.
