I have always wanted to be fluent in more than one language and i think the best way to learn one is through an app or on a computer, seen as though i am on some sort of device 95% of the day.
I have tried other apps such as Babbel, i did like the way that you learnt on it but i did not want to to pay for the privilege to do so.
So then i found Duolingo. You can choose from 21 languages from across the world. I find it great because it is in a really simple format, you start at Basics one and within this there is five lessons which range from learning genders, drinks and the correct gender to identity. You then progress to over 70 different categories which will eventually teach you everything.
I have started learning Italian and German as these are two languages which i have always wanted to learn and have wanted to travel too.
If you were going to travel to a country that you did not know one word of their language i would really recommend this app as it starts you off with the basics, which if you ever got into trouble whilst you were there then you at least had a few words and phrases to help you.
